Scotland 1997 + 1999
Introduction
My dad is a seasoned visitor to Scotland but I've only recently have been going with him.
1999 was a particularly memorable holiday spent in Roy Bridge near Fort William.
Schiehallion - 12 October 1997
Cheese and jam sandwiches and a nice cup of tea makes a perfect lunch break. A passing walker obliges us with a picture as we shelter from a cold wind.
Schiehallion is a popular and accessible mountain so we made an early start that day to miss the poorly equipped groups walking up in the afternoon.
